Children and families experiencing homelessness, family violence or housing instability often need support that is thoughtful, specialist and connected.

MOSS supports this work through direct child-focused support and through programs that strengthen practitioner capability across the homelessness and family violence sectors.

Current programs in this area include Bright Futures and the North and West Regional Children’s Resource Program.

Bright Futures supports children aged 0 to 17 accompanying families already being supported by a homelessness or family violence case manager, while
NWRCRP supports practitioners and agencies to respond more effectively to children and young people who have experienced homelessness and/or family violence.
